I have finally gotten in touch with the correct people at work and they clarified the policy for me. It's okay for me to resume work on my mobile applications, so my first priority is to start a huge revamping of Mileage. This is where you (if you use Mileage) come in--I need help collecting bugs and feature suggestions. I've set up two Google Moderator topics for bugs and features. Please add/vote on your favorite suggestions or most annoying bugs and I'll get cracking on the most popular ones.

As always, I'm accepting patches. I'm also considering moving to git or mercurial to make this easier.
On a less-happy note, I am completely halting any personal development on GV. It is impossible for me to work on this again. However, there is a fork project set up on Google Code called GV Callback -- please contribute there if you want to see GV continue living.
